Your ceremony at Hothorpe Hall

Bride & groom in the terrace room

A choice of ceremony space

Whether you wish to marry inside the manor house or out in the gardens, the choice is yours thanks to our civil ceremony license. Our chapel offers a beautiful location for a marriage blessing too.

If you’d prefer a religious ceremony in your chosen place of worship, we’ll be ready and waiting to welcome you and your guests through the grand manor house doors for your post-ceremony celebration.

The Terrace ceremony room

Terrace Room

Offering glorious views over the rolling Hothorpe Hills, the Terrace Room can host ceremonies of up to 110 people.

With neutral décor, it’s bound to complement your colour scheme, allowing you to dress it as you wish. Doors open out on to the top terrace, allowing you and your guests to spill out for post-ceremony drinks and photos while appreciating the breathtaking scenery.

Sunken Garden

With generous gardens and unspoiled views surrounding the manor house, Hothorpe Hall is a wonderful place to marry outside.

New for 2020, you can legally marry in The Sunken Garden, just beyond the manor house.

If you’d prefer to marry elsewhere in Hothorpe’s gardens, a celebrant-led ceremony allows you to do just that. You’ll just need to do the all-important legal bit another time!
