Signs of Spring blooming

15 April 2016

The ‘canvas’ that the team have to work with is an inspiring one, we are fortunate to be tucked away in an idyllic spot in the rolling countryside on the borders of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, with views that are truly captivating. While conveniently located just a few miles from the M1, M6 and A14 motorway networks, the peace and tranquillity at Hothorpe Hall & The Woodlands makes visitors feel that they have been transported to another world!

So, what are Tony and the team up to in the gardens at the moment?

“The perennial flowers and the weeds are growing at a fast rate and we have been mowing lawns regularly for several weeks now,” explains Tony. “New planting schemes are underway with new box parterres around the manor house being our current priority. Summer bedding and tender plants in the greenhouse are coming along nicely while outside the daffodils, tulips and winter bedding are providing much needed colour around the grounds.”

As well as the aesthetic nature of our grounds and scenery, they also work fantastically for our customers on a practical level - whether it’s a stroll around the gardens during a well-earned meeting break; the fantastic back-drop that so many couples enjoy for their wedding photographs; team-building activities like archery, or a game of croquet on the lawn; or a fabulous barbeque or garden party after a meeting or conference – Hothorpe Hall & The Woodlands beautiful grounds are available for customers to use as they wish.
