A Perfect Mother's Day

3 February 2015

I’m sure that most mums would agree, Mother’s Day isn’t about presents and expensive cards – it’s about knowing that you are appreciated, loved and valued by those who are closest to you. In today’s throwaway society, there is no substitute for spending valuable time with your loved ones, creating memories that will last much longer than a bottle of expensive perfume.

Simple pleasures are the best. Breakfast in bed, a home-made card, a bunch of daffodils, a country walk - spending quality family time together.

It’s nice to be spoilt, but it’s also great if the family can enjoy a treat with you. Our Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea at Hothorpe Hall is designed with the whole family in mind. Enjoy freshly prepared sandwiches with delicious fillings, a homemade fruit scone with homemade raspberry preserve and a selection of cakes and desserts, washed down with a choice of teas or freshly filtered coffee – all served in the Manor House, set in beautiful countryside, with stunning views, it will be a memory to cherish all year.

Afternoon Tea will be served from 3.30pm on Sunday 15th March and can be booked at http://www.hothorpe.co.uk/whats-on/mother-s-day-afternoon-tea-at-hothorpe-hall or by calling 01858 881500.
