Refurbishments to Meeting Rooms and Bar

28 February 2014

Comfortable, quality facilities is what customers have come to expect from Leicestershire Conference Centre, Hothorpe Hall, but with a desire to always improve, Hothorpe has recently refurbished a number of meeting rooms.

The Terrace Room (formerly Blue Room) at the top of the old manor house now offers a neutral and tasteful décor, having enjoyed a full makeover. The meeting room boasts stunning views over the Northamptonshire countryside with a door allowing guests to exit onto the outdoor raised terrace seating area – perfect for break times in the finer weather. The room is part-divided via an ornate archway allowing for a formal meeting to take place at one end of the room and a breakout session, or refreshments, at the other. Sofas and informal seating can be included within the room for the breakout session. Next to the Terrace Room in the manor house, the Drawing Room (formerly Green Room) has also had new soft furnishings and a neutral colour scheme.

Complimentary WiFi is available throughout Hothorpe Hall, with strong access from all meeting rooms and bedrooms, recently boosted by an additional investment in superfast broadband to our Midlands conference centre.

The Trafford lounge and bar was also included in the winter 2013/14 refurbishments and is being enjoyed by many delegates already as the most widely used communal coffee lounge and licensed bar at Hothorpe Hall. The lounge and bar has undergone a total makeover including full redecoration, new mood lighting, comfy sofas for relaxing and high bar stools and tables for pre-evening meal drinks.

Hothorpe Hall’s event team are always happy to show interested clients around the our Leicestershire meeting venue, so if you’re starting to plan your next event and would like to join us for lunch and have a look around, please contact Jo or Jenny.
