As a conference venue, Hothorpe Hall is unrivalled in the Leicester area. Boasting a peaceful and rural location, yet not many miles from the centre of Leicester, customers can enjoy the tranquillity of Hothorpe and the great British countryside, whilst still benefiting from all of the trappings of modern life, such as excellent transport links and free WiFi throughout the building. Set in generous grounds, this Midlands Conference Venue has plenty of opportunities for customers to take advantage of the immediate countryside, whether by enjoying some outdoor team building activities such as archery or clay pigeon shooting, team sports on our sports court, or a relaxing walk around the grounds – even if it’s just to take a comfort break on the terrace enjoying the stunning views of the Hothorpe Hills, or just enjoying the fabulous countryside scenery from the window of your meeting room. 

Residential and Day Conference Options

Many of our customers escape the confines of Leicester to enjoy a day time meeting of ‘blue sky thinking’ away from the noise and distractions of city life; and due to the central location of this venue, in the heart of the Midlands, combined with the proximity to excellent motorway links, Hothorpe is a fantastic ‘meet in the middle’ conference venue as well.

Hothorpe benefits from 55 en-suite bedrooms, and a further 23 in our new venue, The Woodlands, located in the wooded grounds of the Hall. Opened in May 2015, the additional accommodation provided by the new venue will mean that Hothorpe Hall & The Woodland together are able to accommodate up to 78 delegates single occupancy, or up to 160 if individuals are willing to share. Our largest meeting room is The Marston Suite, which seats 160 delegates theatre style.

As a multi-purpose conference venue, we are experienced in providing all kinds of corporate events, from team building events through to product launches, training sessions or workshops. Exclusive use of Hothorpe Hall is available at a very competitive price, in order that organisations can make use of the entire building as they wish, for the duration of their stay (including all accommodation).

Many organisations have used our conference venue for a number of consecutive days – for example, one large retailer booked Hothorpe Hall for 3 days during the week. Day one comprised a series of day time meetings to plan for the next day’s launch event, day 2 saw Hothorpe packed to the rafters with buyers from the sector as the product launch took place which was followed by an evening gala dinner for 100 delegates and day 3 was a series of day ‘wash-up’ meetings which ended in a range of team building activities such as archery, orienteering and a treasure hunt.
