Ceremonial Space

By far the most popular* licensed ceremonial space at Hothorpe Hall is The Terrace Room (110 capacity), situated just inside the manor house entrance and with glorious views over the rolling Hothorpe Hills. With neutral décor, it's bound to complement your colour scheme, allowing you to dress it as you wish.

Doors open out on to the top terrace, allowing you and your guests to spill out for post-ceremony drinks and photos while taking in the breathtaking scenery.

With generous gardens and unspoiled views surrounding the manor house, Hothorpe Hall is a wonderful place to marry outside. New for Spring 2020, you'll be able to legally marry in The Sunken Garden, just beyond the manor house, with pathways joining the two.

It's becoming increasingly popular for couples to legally marry in church or at an intimate civil ceremony, then having a bespoke outdoor ceremony led by a celebrant in front of a large group of guests. This allows greater flexibility on where you choose to marry in our gardens, with many opting for The Secret Garden.

If you're not marrying in church, but adding a religious aspect to your day is important to you, our chapel - which is part of the manor house - may be used for marriage blessings.

*Further licensed rooms available which we are happy to discuss during your viewing.
