Kitchen Porter
Job requirements:
- Work at a fast pace to ensure keeping up with the needs of the kitchen
- Sweep, scrub and mop floors
- Empty and clean bins, replace with liners
- Help meet sustainability targets by ensuring all that can be recycled is recycled.
- Attend regular team training sessions
- Able to complete some basic food prep including using a potato rumbler, and picking herbs
- Organise and maintain all equipment storage areas including crockery, glassware, pots, pans, trays and utensils
- Wash pots and pans by hand
- Use of commercial dish and glass washer machines
- Follow safe lifting and handling procedures
- Follow COSHH guidelines when using chemicals
- Follow cleaning schedules to a high standard
- Communicate effectively within own team
- Act professionally at all times
- Able to prioritise and use own initiative

- Physically fit and enjoy being active
