Function Rooms
The Blue Room
The former elegant Adam-style Drawing room with original fireplaces and ornate ceiling is ideal for a ceremony or reception for up to 110 people. Step out of the Blue Room into the rose garden and mature grounds and savour the glorious views of the Hothorpe Hills.
The Blue Room is licensed for a civil marriage.
The Marston Room
The largest of Hothorpe's rooms, The Marston Room is licensed for Civil Ceremonies. It is spacious and square in shape, meaning it lends itself well to a range of seating options. Up to 150 people can be seated in the room for a ceremony only, however, when coupled with a wedding breakfast the capacity is 110 (due to Langton Dining Room capacity). With large windows along two sides of the room, there are views across the front and back gardens and countryside.

The Green Room
Once the Dining Room of Hothorpe Hall, the Green Room holds up to 60 people standing (38 seated) with doors opening out onto the lawns. The Green Room is ideal for drinks receptions, especially following a ceremony in the neighbouring Blue Room or for more intimate wedding breakfasts.
The Round Room
Added in Victorian times by the last private family to own Hothorpe and boasting ornate plasterwork, the Round Room holds up to 20 people making it perfect for a more intimate gathering. The Round Room is licensed for a civil marriage.
Private Chapel
Hothorpe Hall has its own Victorian Chapel, seating 72 people, and is available for a service of blessing. It is also a popular room for formal indoor photographs due to its ornate decor providing a fantastic backdrop.
Garden

A blessing/outdoor ceremony can take place anywhere in the grounds of Hothorpe Hall. You would, however, be required to have a legal civil ceremony with two witnesses in one of our licensed rooms first.
Langton Room
Converted from the Victorian stable block, the Langton Room offers seating for up to 110 people for your formal wedding breakfast. A marquee can be hired, on certain dates, to cater for numbers greater than 110 persons.
The Trafford Lounge
Complimentary comfortable lounge with fully licensed bar, wooden dance floor and our adjoining Welford Room for your evening buffet.
The Foxton Suite
The Foxton Suite (and adjoining Naseby Suite) have their own private entrance, yet are still part of Hothorpe Hall. Converted from the former Victorian stable block, the Foxton Suite has a high-vaulted ceiling, feature full-length door opening onto the cobbled pathway, and woodland views, providing an exclusive venue for your celebration and/or civil ceremony. Ideal for more intimate weddings, or to host weddings for the early part of the day which then wish to move into Hothorpe Hall when it is vacated by another client, so they can welcome further guests.
The Naseby Suite
Adjoining the Foxton Suite via double doors where the two suites can be used together if desired, the Naseby Suite is an intimate space that has woodland views and doors that can open on to the cobbled pathway.
