Hothorpe Hall would like to introduce you to our Professional  Toastmaster Alan Cockayne.

His role is to orchestrate your day leaving you to enjoy the occasion!

This year will be an interesting one for me, with venues ranging from the Cafe de Paris in Monaco and the Grosvenor House Hotel in London through many Hotels, Halls and Manors to private marquees and village halls.

I am particularly proud, however, to have been appointed as the 'resident' Master of Ceremonies for weddings held at Hothorpe Hall. Hothorpe is a very special wedding venue with beautiful surroundings and a management team that really does care, and I know they will do all they can to make your day as perfect as possible.

Essentially, my role is to make sure that your day runs as smoothly as possible, by making all the necessary announcements in the correct manner and at the correct time. You can be as formal or as informal as you wish, it is my aim to be as flexible as possible to make sure that the day flows exactly as you want it to.

My services are included in the overall price that you pay for the day.  I am work alongside the wedding co ordinator, Shirley Woolley to assist you withany planning or advice that you may require from the time that you confirm your booking onwards. 

Finally, I wish you every success in all of your planning, and on the day itself I want you to relax, enjoy yourself and leave the organising to me!!

 

Alan is an experienced toastmaster, who has officiated weddings, banquets, corporate functions and presentations throughout the Midlands area.

Trained at the UK School of Professional Toastmasters, he has detailed knowledge of the procedures, protocol and etiquette to be adopted at a wide range of functions and can be a useful source of information when planning your event.

Always immaculately dressed in red tailcoat and white bow tie, Alan will be instantly recognised as the organisational focal point for the day, and in a friendly, relaxed manner he will ensure that your guests are kept fully informed of what is happening and when, ensuring that the day runs as smoothly as possible. It is your day, and Alan aims to make sure that it runs as perfectly as you have wished.
